Recently, PC World Magazine published a story dealing with what they like to call “The 25 Worst Tech Products of All Time.” I prefer to refer to it as “The Tech Darwin Awards” as it largely consists of failed, ill-concieved or all together stupid inventions from the past few decades. My personal favorite is the iSmell, a device that generated smells that corresponded to the web pages you visited. For instance, going to Chanel.com would prompt the device to exude smells of the companies products. Visiting a fast-food or resturant website would cause the device to fill your room with aromas of delicious food. Hrmm…I wonder what kind of smells a visit to Hustler.com would inspire?
