Christina Aguilera “Ain’t No Other Man”

I thought ‘Deja Vu’ was another singer’s song this summer? I can’t figure out what to dislike this song for more, ripping off Rich Harrison’s signature sound of pairing R&B with soul samples, or Christina Aguilera’s lack of originality. On “Ain’t no Other Man” Christina sounds exactly like she did on last years ‘duet’ with Nelly, “Tilt Ya Head Back”. Much like that track, this one just quite doesn’t do it for me. The track, produced by hip-hop staple DJ Premier is definitely a club track, very upbeat with alot of energy, shuffling drum loop, funky guitar riffs and frantic horn stabs. It isn’t so bad that it won’t be a summer hit, but it is just bad enough that I don’t really want to hear it again.
