Ashley Wood is an exceptional illustrator and concept artist with a uniquely modern style that fuses penciling, painting, and computer illustration. His talents have been comissioned by Activision, DC Comics, Hasbro, Dreamworks SKG, LucasArts, Marvel Comics, Random House, Sony and Warner Bros to name a few.

Born 1971 in Australia, he made a name for himself in the UK comic industry where he worked on the popular comicbook series Judge Dredd and Spawn before finding mainstream recognition for his work on the Metal Gear Solid video game covers and comics.

His original graphic novel series POPBOT was recently optioned to become a film by Resolution Independent.

He currently resides in Perth, Australia with his wife and two sons where he’s working on the Popbot Movie and a new series Gutsie Gator 1.5.
