1. Tea or coffee?
I named my website Media Tea Shop…clearly, I am a tea person. I’ve always planned to retire at 80, open a tea shop, and stand on my head for the next 45 years.

2. Are you a morning person or night owl?
I prefer to be a morning person – I feel much clearer creatively, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. It is a daily challenge, though, and sometimes I am overtaken by Lorca’s Duende. Sleep then eludes me.

3. What is your favorite childhood memory?
I have so many:
* going to the beach with my sisters and loosing Barbie dolls in the sand
* pretending to surf with my dad
* moving to Willows and feeling safe for the first time in my life
* learning to ride a bike
* my grandma singing me to sleep
* every single memory from when I lived in London with my mom – including my memory of walking up the green stairs asking myself, “Is this a moment I will remember for the rest of my life?” I sure do!

4. Why do you do what you do for a living?
Ummmm…pass.

5. How did you start doing what you do?
Ummmm…pass.

6. If you could do something other than this for a living, what you choose and why?
I would like to earn a good living in digital / new media, which means: combining my geeky tendencies (computer, analytic, and strategic skills) with writing, cinematography, photography, editing, and music to create interactive media experiences, which bring the human race closer and more harmoniously together.

7. What is your favorite song and why?
I have three:

* WINKIN’ AND BLINKIN’ AND NOD lullaby put to music by The Simon Sisters based on a poem by Eugene Field
* Suite Bergamasque, CLAIRE DE LUNE by Claude Debussy

1. Get married and have kids and be a good wife and mother (I do have old-fashioned tendencies)
2. Have a career I am proud of
3. Own homes: in the city, at the beach, in the mountains, in the country that my family and I decorate beautifully
4. Publish my stories
5. Be super-duper far in the green
6. Love and be loved
7. World travel
8. Be fluent in Spanish even when sober
9. Do good public and humanitarian works
10. Study Yoga in India

9. Do you believe in God? Why or why not?
Yes, I do. God is everything, including you and including me. So, God is me. I am God. I believe in me; therefore, I believe in God. More importantly, life and the universe are and are eternal. Read my thesis if you wanna learn more. I actually made my way through college researching this. Fascinating.

10. Are you happy? Why or why not?
Getting there. I think I am not there already because I think too much about too many things, and because of my ambitions.

11. What is your greatest triumph to date in your career? In your personal life?
Career – making a short documentary for the Ojai Music Festival and being represented by Wilhelmina and CED (now CESD). Personal – putting myself through college and graduating with honors.

12. What are your future plans?

13. What inspires you?
Love, memories, three-legged dogs, and my own ambitions. (Nicholas, you already know two of these.)

17. Anything else you want us to know about you…?
I am having so much fun with PROJECT FOLKS. I am grateful to all those, who have responded, and to all those, who have yet to respond. This started on a whim, and my whim is helping ease my pains of homesickness. The ocean and my mom are hard things to be without.
