Renaming A Mac OS10.x Computer

Click on the Apple Menu (top left corner) and choose System Preferences.
From the System Preferences window, click ‘Sharing’ located under the
Internet and Network section.
From the Sharing window, type your new name in the ‘Computer Name’ field.
